Job summary

Fore Biotherapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead computational analyses across genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and clinical data to guide biomarker discovery and patient stratification.

You will develop pipelines, manage CROs, and collaborate with clinicians to translate findings into drug development strategies, with a focus on precision oncology and translational research.

Qualifications

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics or related field.
• 3+ years postdoc or industry experience; or Master’s with 7+ years.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and Bash for omics analysis and visualization.
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS/GCP/Azure) and workflow tools.
• Experience with large real-world observational data or multi-omics datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-omics data analysis to support internal research and collaborations.
• Identify oncogenic mutations and gene fusions for precision medicine.
• Integrate public and proprietary datasets for hypothesis generation.
• Analyze translational biomarker data for clinical programs.
• Design and execute experiments in preclinical models; generate datasets.
• Manage CROs and external studies; collaborate across teams.
• Communicate findings via internal presentations and manuscripts.
