Job summary

DuPont’s Molykote Specialty Lubricants team in Midland, Michigan seeks a Senior Scientist to advance our lubricant portfolio. You will lead and participate in a product commercialization team, develop new and improved lubricants, and apply rigorous scientific methods to validate solutions for applications and quality issues.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree will be considered with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate as a core member of a product commercialization team.
• Develop new and modified products to meet customer and market needs.
• Apply scientific methods to validate solutions to applications or quality issues.
• Explore properties of advanced lubricants to create value-added solutions.
• Lead scale-up activities for new products at manufacturing plants.
• Develop expertise with specialty test equipment for lubricants and collaborate with global teams.
