Job summary
10x Genomics is seeking an exceptional, multidisciplinary scientist to lead research and product development in Spatial Biology, mapping proteins and biomolecules within intact tissues. The role requires a strong background in cell biology, immunology or tumor biology and experience with high-plex proteomics tissue imaging.

Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular/Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in proteomics, imaging and spatial techniques.
- Hands-on experience with high-plex protein multiplexing technology.
- Experience with tissue processing, histology, IHC, cryosectioning and IF.
- Extensive experience working with antibodies including QC and conjugation.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to optimization of tissue handling for protein staining in FFPE.
- Design and execute experiments using imaging platforms; report data.
- Collaborate with computational biologists and software engineers to interpret data.
- Develop robust internal protocols for product development.
