AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist I/II to join the Biotherapeutics and Genetic Medicine (BGM) team. You will design and execute innovative siRNA delivery strategies and advance RNA-based therapies through ex-hepatic pipelines.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with RNA biology, in vitro/in vivo assays, and collaboration across functions. Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary group focused on transforming patient care with next‑generation RNA therapeutics.

Qualifikationen

• PhD/MS/BS with extensive experience in molecular biology and RNA biology.
• Hands-on experience in in vitro and in vivo studies for siRNA delivery platforms.
• Strong expertise in siRNA therapeutics and delivery systems.
• Experience with siRNA and antibody-oligo-conjugates (AOCs) is desirable.
• Proven capabilities in assay development and biomarker quantification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to contribute to publications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead research to advance siRNA therapeutics for ex-hepatic pipelines.
• Design and evaluate novel ex-hepatic siRNA delivery platforms.
• Develop proof-of-concept experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Develop in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo assays for siRNA candidates.
• Maintain high productivity and scientific rigor in the lab.
• Analyze multidisciplinary data to guide experiments.
• Acquire deep knowledge of RNA biology to support development stages.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute as author to publications or patents and mentor junior scientists.
