Job summary

Prellis Biologics seeks a scientist to contribute to analytical characterization of therapeutic antibodies and related biologics in Berkeley, CA. You will perform biophysical and developability assessments, design and optimize methods, and communicate results to cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes independent experimental design, data interpretation, and compliance with lab safety and quality standards, with flexible work arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

PhD or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in analytical characterization of biologics.
Hands-on experience with protein characterization techniques and biochemical assays.

Responsibilities

Characterize therapeutic antibodies, bispecifics, and Fc-fusion proteins analytically.
Develop and implement analytical methods for protein characterization.
Analyze data to support lead candidate selection and development studies.
Prepare technical reports and present findings to teams.
Collaborate with Antibody Discovery & Protein Engineering groups.
