Job summary

Prellis Biologics in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist with a strong background in therapeutic antibody characterization to join our therapeutics team. You will contribute to analytical assessment of monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, and Fc-fusion proteins, supporting drug development through detailed biophysical and biochemical characterization.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 2–3 years of industry experience with therapeutic antibody characterization.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical characterization of therapeutic mAbs, bispecifics, and Fc-fusion proteins/antigens.
• Conduct biophysical and stability assessments including Tm, Tagg (Uncle), Size, AC-SINS, HIC, cIEF, aSEC, and BVP assays.
• Support formulation, developability, and comparability studies through data generation and interpretation.
• Prepare clear, concise reports of experimental results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards.
