Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the United States seeks a senior scientist to lead purification process characterization and validation for large molecule development, supporting IND/BLA submissions.

You will design and execute chromatography, filtration, and analytical studies; author protocols, review data, generate reports, and prepare IND/BLA sections; and coordinate with internal teams and CMOs for late-stage data transfer to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in biotech/biopharma process development.
• Experience with purification, process characterization, validation, and analytical methods (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, DLS, LC/MS).
• Familiarity with BLA authoring and CMOs, viral clearance studies, and AKTA systems preferred.
