Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Biologist II in Waltham, MA for a 6-month, 100% onsite assignment. The role focuses on developing and optimizing recombinant protein purification using clarification, chromatography, and membrane filtration technologies.

You will design and run process development studies, perform impurity and viral clearance evaluations, and support tech transfer to scale-up labs and manufacturing facilities. ELN-based data capture and GMP material support are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 至少 3 年以上生物制药工艺开发经验（3+ years of relevant experience translated to English).

Job Description

• Develop and optimize purification processes for recombinant proteins using clarification, chromatography, and membrane filtration technologies.


• Design and execute process development and characterization studies, including impurity and viral clearance evaluations.


• Support technology transfer to scale-up laboratories and manufacturing facilities, including troubleshooting and investigations.


• Acquire, analyze, and document experimental data using electronic laboratory notebooks.


• Provide technical support for pilot-scale and/or GMP manufacturing of clinical materials.


• Evaluate new purification technologies and process innovations.

Education

• Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.


• 3+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical process development experience.
