Job summary

Alloy Therapeutics in Waltham, MA seeks a Scientist/Senior Scientist to lead biophysical screening and analytical characterization of monoclonal and multispecific antibodies and other modalities.

You will design and execute high-throughput screening and stability studies using LC-MS, CE-SDS, cIEF, DLS, and other analytical techniques, and mentor junior scientists in a fast-paced startup environment while reporting to the Head of Protein Analytics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with at least 2 years of industry experience or an M.S. with at least 6 years in a relevant field.
• Proven track record with protein analytical and biophysical assessments.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS, CE-SDS, CZE or cIEF, DLS, and chromatographic techniques (SEC, HIC).
• Experience with high-concentration stability and impurity characterization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and execute high-throughput screening, stability, forced degradation, and pre-formulation studies for antibodies and other modalities.
• Lead later-stage characterization efforts to support developability and formulation decisions.
• Develop and validate new analytical methods and optimize workflows for throughput and reproducibility.
• Supervise and mentor junior scientists, reviewing experimental designs and data.
