Job summary

Zenith LifeScience LLC. in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Scientist contractor with broad expertise in multiomics, functional genomics, and NGS workflows to support oncology research. The role is on-site in Cambridge with roughly equal time in the lab and in data analysis.

The successful candidate will design and execute omics studies across genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, and single-cell approaches, analyze and integrate data, and present findings to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, computational biology or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing multiomics or functional genomics studies.
• Experience with two or more omics modalities (e.g., RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN).
• Proficiency in R, Python or equivalent for data analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute multiomics studies across genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, and single-cell assays.
• Analyze and integrate datasets; present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Develop reproducible workflows and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate metadata and project documentation.
• Stay current with emerging multiomics technologies.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on study design and timelines.
