Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Principal Scientist to join the Discovery Biosciences Genomics team in Cambridge, MA. Lead multi‑omics projects using single‑cell RNA‑seq and spatial transcriptomics to advance oncology target identification, validation, and translational research.

The role focuses on wet lab work, CRISPR‑based functional genomics, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive drug discovery and biomarker development in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Life Sciences or equivalent with relevant post‑grad experience required.
Master's or Bachelor's with extensive relevant experience accepted.
Minimum years of experience: 4+ for Ph.D.; 6+ for Master’s; 8+ for Bachelor’s.

Responsabilités

Conduct full‑time laboratory‑based research supporting target identification and oncology drug discovery.
Design, develop, and optimize genomics and functional assays to evaluate candidates.
Implement novel genomic assays such as single‑cell RNA‑seq and spatial transcriptomics.
Collaborate across Discovery Biology, Predictive Sciences, and Computational Genomics.
Train and mentor team members in advanced genomics techniques.
Communicate results and maintain ELN/LIMS documentation.
