Job summary
Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Senior Scientist – Manufacturing Science to support reliable manufacture of the API External Manufacturing portfolio, including materials, intermediates, enzymes, and bulk drug substances. Qualifications
- Bachelor-level degree in a scientific discipline as listed.
- Minimum 3+ years of applicable industrial experience in API Manufacturing/TS/MS/QA/Development.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for reliable, compliant API EM manufacturing.
- Lead experiments to improve process control, yield, purity, and productivity.
- Prepare technical documents: reports, deviation investigations, validation protocols and summaries.
- Develop real-time metrics to monitor process variability and capability.
- Ensure accurate process instruction sets and control strategies are documented.
