Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, IN seeks an API-EM Senior/Principal Scientist to provide technical oversight for peptide and oligonucleotide manufacturing with external partners. This role requires strong knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory expectations and will involve collaboration across multiple functions.

You will lead technical transfers, process stewardship and monitoring, and ensure documentation justifications for process descriptions, measures, and specifications. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for peptide and/or oligonucleotide manufacturing processes.
• Lead technical transfer, process stewardship and monitoring for external contract manufacturers.
• Ensure processes are compliant, in control, and validated or qualified; manage deviations and CAPAs.
• Support regulatory submissions with technical input and maintain awareness of regulatory best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Engineering
