Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist within the DSCS Digital Technologies team to develop and deploy automation solutions across pharmaceutical research. You will design integrated lab automation systems, bridging robotics, instrumentation, and software to accelerate data-driven discovery.

In this role you will collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate experimental needs into scalable digital workflows, lead projects from concept to deployment, and improve existing

Qualifications

PhD in engineering/robotics/chemistry/biology, expected 2026.
MS with 2+ years relevant experience.
BS with 4+ years relevant experience.
Experience in lab automation, programming in Python, C#, VBA.

Responsibilities

Design integrated lab automation systems combining robotics, instrumentation and software.
Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate experimental needs into scalable digital workflows.
Lead projects from concept to deployment.
Improve existing platforms for performance and reliability.
Connect lab ecosystems for end-to-end digital data flow.
Support scientists through troubleshooting and training.
