Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist within the DSCS Digital Technologies team to develop and deploy automation solutions across pharmaceutical research. You will design integrated lab automation systems, bridging robotics, instrumentation, and software to accelerate data-driven discovery.

Job description

Role: Senior Scientist within the DSCS Digital Technologies team focused on developing and deploying automation solutions to enhance pharmaceutical research.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Robotics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (expected graduation in 2026)
• M.S. (2+ years relevant experience)
• B.S. (4+ years relevant experience)

Experience in lab automation, programming (Python, C#, VBA, etc.), and understanding of (bio)pharmaceutical R&D, especially in drug substance, drug product, or analytical research.

Preferred skills include PLC, SCADA, automation hardware, laboratory equipment integration, and familiarity with AI/ML concepts.
