Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives in upstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The role focuses on automation systems support, project leadership, and ensuring GMP compliance across media and process control platforms.

You will act as a subject-matter expert for DCS, PLC/SCADA/HMI environments, and oversee system integration, specifications development, validation practices, and upgrades within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in GMP biopharma automation with hands‑on DCS experience (preferably Emerson DeltaV).
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Strong knowledge of validation, GMP, FDA, and 21 CFR Part 11.
