Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Associate Laboratory Automation Scientist to support automated workflows in therapeutic discovery. You will configure, operate, troubleshoot, and improve automation systems like liquid handlers and plate readers, while assisting in sample and reagent setup and documenting results across protein, molecular, NGS, and biochemical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, engineering, or related field is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience with automated lab equipment and data management.
• Ability to capture metadata and ensure sample handling and assay execution quality.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, troubleshoot, and improve automation systems such as liquid handlers and plate readers.
• Support setup of samples, reagents, and documentation for assays across multiple workflows.
• Assist in assay execution and ensure data traceability and sample integrity.
• Contribute to automation standards, validations, and continuous improvement activities.
