Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Laboratory Automation Scientist to design, integrate, and support automated workcells for discovery and analytical workflows in biopharma.

You will translate scientific workflows into automated processes, manage workcell architecture, optimize methods, and ensure data provenance and lifecycle management. Based in Spring House, PA, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields with 6+ years (BS), 4+ years (MS), or 2+ years (PhD) of relevant automation experience.
• Proven expertise in laboratory workflows, sample handling, and automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and support automated workcells for discovery and analytical workflows.
• Translate scientific workflows into automated processes and optimize methods.
• Ensure data provenance, integrity, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with IT, data science, engineering, and scientific teams to ensure seamless operation and data integrity.
• Manage recovery protocols, troubleshooting, vendor engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
