Amgen seeks a Senior Scientist to advance Inflammation discovery by leading experimental and computational activities within project teams. You will iterate between bench work and computational workflows, coordinating efforts across disciplines to deliver data-driven recommendations and progress therapeutic hypotheses.

The role requires a strong PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent with experience in target identification and validation; preferred candidates bring experience guiding multidisciplinary

Qualifikationen

• PhD or PharmD or MD with post-doc where applicable
• Masters with 3+ years of relevant scientific experience
• Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant scientific experience

Aufgaben

• Independently design, execute, and interpret bench experiments addressing biological questions and therapeutic hypotheses
• Apply computational, AI-enabled, and data-analytic approaches to generate mechanistic insight
• Develop criteria and recommendations for go/no-go decisions in target programs
• Lead activities within work groups coordinating contributions from multiple disciplines
• Develop novel approaches and workflows to improve discovery program efficiency and translational relevance
• Build expertise in small- and large-molecule drug discovery in inflammation
• Provide coaching and scientific guidance within teams
• Organize and communicate data and recommendations across projects and forums
• Contribute to publications, presentations, patents, and technical reports
