Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Scientist to lead high-throughput biologics production, focusing on antibody and multispecific workflows within Discovery Biotherapeutics.

You will design, optimize, and operate scalable expression, purification, and QC processes, oversee automation and analytics, develop 60+ plate workflows weekly, and mentor staff while aligning production with project priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in bioengineering/biochemistry or related field with 7+ years.
• Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years in related field.
• Hands-on experience in mammalian expression (HEK293, CHO), purification, automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and operate scalable protein expression, purification, and QC.
• Oversee automation, liquid handling, and analytical instrumentation.
• Develop workflows for 60+ plates weekly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor staff.
