Job summary

Prellis Biologics in Berkeley is seeking a Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist to advance high-throughput antibody discovery. You will execute molecular biology, NGS, and end-to-end automation to accelerate discovery.

The role requires hands-on experience in PCR, cloning, mutagenesis, plasmid design, and DNA library construction, plus familiarity with automated liquid handlers and Illumina platforms. Hybrid multidisciplinary collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, or related field. Sr. RA: BS +3–5 yrs or MS +0–2 yrs; Associate Scientist: BS +5+ yrs or MS +2+ yrs.
• Experience with PCR, cloning, mutagenesis, plasmid design/generation, and DNA library construction.
• Hands-on with automated liquid handlers (Biomek, KingFisher, Tecan) or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-throughput molecular biology workflows and DNA library construction for antibody discovery.
• Build and run end-to-end automation pipelines on liquid handlers to scale throughput across biotech workflows.
• Perform single-cell VH-VL recovery, NGS, and CITE-Seq to probe immune repertoires.
