Job summary
Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Scientist in Seattle to drive gene delivery and editing process development for viral vectors. You will design and execute upstream development, lead platform strategies, and collaborate across teams to advance clinical programs and scale‑up efforts.
The role requires strong expertise in viral vector processes, DoE, and cross‑functional communication with senior leadership, with flexibility to work across development stages and external partners.
Qualifications
- PhD with 1+ year of industry experience.
- MS with 5+ years of industry experience.
- BS with 7+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with suspension culture of mammalian cells and viral vector process development.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot upstream LVV and AAV production experiments.
- Identify, onboard, and develop upstream technologies with partners.
- Optimize production processes and support scale‑up for clinical/commercial use.
- Lead platform development strategy and coordinate junior colleagues.
