Bristol Myers Squibb in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist, Targeted Delivery Biology to advance non-viral delivery platforms. You will drive mechanistic insight and optimize delivery to new cell types and tissues, bridging cell biology with delivery sciences in a fast-paced, collaborative research setting.

The role focuses on receptor-mediated delivery, quantitative assay development, and translating biology into improved therapeutics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years of academic and/or industry experience.
PhD or equivalent advanced degree in Life Sciences; 2+ years in relevant work.
Strong background in cell biology and quantitative assay development.
Experience with receptor-mediated delivery and imaging/flow cytometry techniques.

Responsibilities

Design mechanistic and functional assays to study nanoparticle delivery and optimize strategies.
Identify and validate receptors for targeted delivery, assessing expression and internalization.
Contribute to receptor targeting ligand discovery and development efforts.
Develop in vitro safety and biocompatibility assays for delivery systems.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate biology into platform design.
Communicate findings to teams and leadership to influence strategy.
Mentor junior scientists and contribute to new experimental approaches.
