Job summary
Yoh Life Sciences in Rosenberg, TX seeks a Senior Scientist for Pharmaceutical Formulation & Process Development. You will personally design and execute formulation and process-development studies from lab through pilot and manufacturing transfer, maintaining hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.
The role emphasizes direct, technical contribution with expertise in scale-up, technology-transfer and regulatory-aligned development.
Qualifications
- PhD required in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant pharmaceutical-industry development experience.
- Hands-on expertise in formulation and process development with scale-up and tech transfer.
- Experience with QbD, DOE, CQAs, CMAs, CPPs and GMP manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute pharmaceutical formulation and process-development experiments.
- Develop and optimize finished drug-product formulations and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate API/excipient properties, compatibility, robustness, and performance.
- Develop experimental plans and analyze data to justify next steps.
- Apply QbD/DOE to formulation and process development.
- Translate laboratory processes to pilot-scale and commercial manufacturing.
- Support technology-transfer activities and cross-functional collaborations.
