Job summary

MyOme is seeking a senior scientist to design and analyze clinical studies that validate our risk models in real clinical settings. You will own trial design, estimands, SAPs, and analysis plans, working with data in reproducible code.

This pivotal role requires leadership in statistical strategy for prospective trials and deep genetics expertise. Hybrid work with 2-3 days onsite at our Menlo Park office, US-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Direct experience leading statistical strategy for prospective clinical trials.
• Experience with SAP, sample-size/power, estimands, and ICH E9.
• Background in statistical genetics or genetic epidemiology.
• Ability to produce clean, reproducible analyses from raw data.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, plus Git in cloud environments.
• Survival and longitudinal modeling; causal inference for observational data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; PhD + 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Design prospective, biomarker-stratified studies to demonstrate utility of models; define endpoints and estimands.
• Develop and execute SAPs, calculate sample sizes, and perform primary/sensitivity analyses per ICH guidelines.
• Pull, clean, and analyze complex data (biobanks, EHRs, registries) in reproducible code.
• Apply statistical genetics methods to study design and score evaluation.
• Use survival, longitudinal, and causal methods for real-world evidence.
