MyOme, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of intelligent tools for Genetic Counselors, integrating LLMs and web tech to improve patient care in a healthcare startup.

You will collaborate with clinical teams, mentor junior engineers, and influence platform architecture, while delivering secure, scalable features in a hybrid San Francisco role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience (web applications, APIs, databases).
• Expert proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Django and React.
• Relational databases, API design, and system architecture.
• Experience integrating with external APIs and third-party services.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI/ML concepts.
• Knowledge of Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Genetic Counselors and clinical leadership to understand workflows and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and build full-stack features that integrate LLMs into genetic counseling workflows.
• Architect scalable APIs and database schemas to support real-time LLM integrations with HIPAA compliance.
• Write clean, well-tested code across React/TypeScript frontend and Django/Python backend.
• Evaluate and integrate LLM frameworks and APIs with safety guardrails and clinical validation.
• Lead technical design reviews and contribute to platform architecture decisions.
