• 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Django and React.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, API design, and system architecture.
• Experience integrating with external APIs and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI/ML concepts.
• Knowledge of Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset with focus on quality and user‑centric design.
• Passion for working in mission‑driven startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Genetic Counselors and clinical leadership to improve workflows.
• Design and build full‑stack features that integrate LLMs into workflows.
• Architect scalable APIs and databases to support real‑time LLM integrations.
• Write clean, well‑tested code for React/TypeScript frontend and Django/Python backend.
• Evaluate and integrate LLM frameworks and APIs with safety guardrails.
• Lead technical design reviews and contribute to platform architecture.
• Promote code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning.
• Participate in sprint planning, releases, and cross‑functional discussions.
