Qualifications

• BA/BS/MS in biology, cell biology, molecular biology or a related field with 2–5 years of experience working with mammalian cell culture.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and related lab techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities related to cell line banking, including preparation, cryopreservation, storage, and dispensing to ensure long-term availability of cell stocks.
• Maintain and support cultures for suspension and adherent cell lines, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of cell lines, ensuring proper packaging, temperature control, and timelines.
• Maintain meticulous records in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Manage cell line inventory with accurate data entry and contribute to system improvements for efficiency.
• Identify and proactively resolve operational or technical challenges impacting workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists, logistics teams, and cross-functional partners to resolve shipping and workflow issues across geographies.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant, and well‑supplied laboratory environment and participate in corrective actions as needed.
• Document processes clearly to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
