Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services in Fremont, CA, is looking for a scientist to develop and characterize engineered cell lines and support product development. You will perform cloning, design diverse cell-based assays, analyze data, and prepare client reports with a focus on collaboration and quality.

The role requires advanced degrees in cell biology or related fields and at least 3 years industrial experience, with strict adherence to ISO standards and the ability to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Extensive mammalian cell culture experience with adherent and suspension cells.
• Experience with flow cytometry, TR-FRET, transcriptional reporters, ELISA in 96/384-well formats.
• Knowledge of GPCR pharmacology and diverse assay readouts.
• Proficient in GraphPad Prism, SoftMax Pro, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to troubleshoot independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform cloning and characterization of engineered cell lines using molecular and cell biology techniques.
• Design and perform experiments to optimize and validate diverse cell-based assays for product or client projects.
• Compile data, analyze and draft client reports and presentations.
• Conduct proof-of-concept experiments to validate new molecular technologies.
• Test cell-based assays and record results in the company database.
• Present experimental data at group meetings and support cross-functional teams.
