Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services seeks a Senior Cell Assay Support Specialist to provide pre- and post-sale technical support for cellular and biochemical assay products from Fremont, CA. You will assess client needs, troubleshoot assays remotely, and share technical guidance and documentation with customers and sales teams.

You will help with product development reviews, QA collaboration, and support training of other team members while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in cell biology, pharmacology or related field.
• 1–2 years (PhD) or 2–4 years (MS) experience with cell-based assays.
• Experience with assay development, esp. cell-based assays.
• Experience training scientists on cell-based/biochemical assays.
• Strong understanding of cell signaling biology and pharmacology.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems with biological assays.
• Knowledge of kinases and receptor biology.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, GraphPad, Prism, FileMaker, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary pre- and post-sale technical support contact.
• Provide support for Eurofins DiscoverX products to global customers and sales staff.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate investigations with R&D teams.
• Participate in web conferences with customers for pre- and post-sale support.
• Coordinate product replacements with customer service as needed.
• Contribute to knowledge base and document inquiries in CRM.
• Assist with development and maintenance of the technical support team's case management system.
• Report product issues and collaborate with QA on improvements.
