Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior scientist to join the Cell Culture Process Development group at the AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA. You will develop CHO culture processes for cGMP manufacturing and support technology transfer activities for clinical and commercial biologics.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD (or equivalent) with extensive cell culture experience and a track record in DOE, PAT, and process optimization, collaborating across Analytical Development, Cell Line Development,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to independently design experiments and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong hands-on experience with mammalian suspension cell culture.
• Experience with DOE principles and multivariate data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and characterize CHO cell culture processes for cGMP manufacturing.
• Lead scientific research to reduce cost of goods by improving platform processes.
• Design, execute, and analyze cell culture experiments using DOE and report summaries.
