Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a skilled researcher to support discovery programs in Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic diseases. You will operate automated cell culture and sequencing workflows, perform iPSC-related tasks, and help advance target validation through hands-on experiments.

The role requires careful sample tracking, adherence to SOPs, and strong collaboration across biology, automation, and bioinformatics teams. Max PR: 32.71/hr.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in cell biology, genomics, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and NGS workflows is required.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous sample tracking and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze cell-based experiments supporting target validation and discovery research.
• Operate and monitor laboratory automation workflows for cell-based and molecular assays; troubleshoot issues.
• Perform tissue, cell, and nuclei dissociation and execute NGS workflows for bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, and snRNA-seq.
• Perform routine molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, quantification, Western blot) and interpret results.
• Maintain accurate records and metadata per SOPs and data integrity standards.
• Collaborate across cell biology, automation, genomics, and bioinformatics groups.
