Job summary

Meet Life Sciences is seeking a hands-on Research Scientist in Cell Biology & Genomics to support discovery programs focused on CVRM diseases.

You will perform mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays, execute NGS workflows (bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, snRNA-seq), and collaborate across cell biology, genomics, automation and bioinformatics to advance programs.

Qualifications

• Strong mammalian cell culture experience.
• Exposure to laboratory automation/high-throughput workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• iPSC, kidney organoid, or sequencing instrument experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.
• Execute NGS workflows, including bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, and snRNA-seq.
• Support tissue/cell/nuclei dissociation and library preparation.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory automation platforms.
• Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and Western blotting.
• Maintain accurate sample tracking and experimental documentation.
• Collaborate across cell biology, genomics, automation, and bioinformatics.

• Perform mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
• Execute NGS workflows, including bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, and snRNA-seq
• Support tissue/cell/nuclei dissociation and library preparation
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory automation platforms
• Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and Western blotting

Ideal Background:
