Qualifications

• Doctorate degree PhD OR PharmD OR MD [and relevant post-doc where applicable]
• Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in bone metabolism and bone disease OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in bone metabolism and bone disease
• Strong target ideation capabilities and critical thinking for discovery of innovative medicines
• Exceptional in vivo and/or in vitro pharmacology skills with proper controls and reproducible data
• Technical mastery of molecular biology and cell-signaling techniques (immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, RT-qPCR, immunoprecipitation, ELISA)
• Understanding of human genetics and genomic data mining a plus

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and proposing therapeutic targets for bone and cardiometabolic disease
• Designing and performing in vitro and in vivo experiments
• Data analysis and interpretation of results
• Communicating results through written and oral presentations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic candidates
• Documenting studies in ELN notebooks and study reports
• Advising colleagues in areas of expertise
