You will lead the design and execution of early phase trials from first‑in‑human to proof‑of‑concept, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust data and strategy. The role emphasizes protocol development, safe data review, biomarker strategy, and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with 2+ years of industry/academic research experience.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or Endocrinology preferred.
• Experience with drug development and early phase clinical trials.
• Strong leadership, communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Publication track record and ability to influence decision-making in timelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead early phase clinical development from first‑in‑human to proof‑of‑concept.
• Collaborate on study design, protocol development, data review and safety monitoring.
• Contribute to clinical development plans, ICFs, Investigator Brochures and regulatory submissions.
• Evaluate external licensing or partnering opportunities within cardiometabolic/general medicine.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across internal and external stakeholders.
