Job summary

JCFS Chicago seeks a licensed school social worker to render direct clinical services to students in line with agency policies. You will co-lead quarterly supervision and provide therapeutic consultation to clinical and classroom teams.

Responsibilities include supporting IEP related processes, staff training on clinical topics, and implementing restorative practices in collaboration with administrators and teachers. A Master's in Social Work and a state LCSW are required.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution with transcripts.
• Clinical LCSW state license.
• Supervisory recommendation for internal candidates.
• Ability to balance direct service productivity with documentation.
• Flexible schedule for school events/trainings.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Render direct clinical services to clients within agency policies and programs.
• Co-leads quarterly Utilization Review and supervises clinical staff.
• Develop leadership within clinical and classroom teams with a therapeutic lens.
• Coordinate SEL services and restorative practices with clinicians and staff.
• Assist with IEP preparation, goal evaluation, and data collection.
• Plan and lead group supervision for clinical staff.
• Provide consultation when director is unavailable and assist with staff growth.
• Participate in hiring and departmental planning activities.
• Complete CPI/Advanced CPI training and safely restrain as required.
