Bridge Elementary School in Lexington, MA, seeks a Head Custodian (Class 24) for a 12‑month role with benefits. The position reports to the Principal/Director of Public Facilities and offers a Mon-Fri, 40-hour week with an hourly wage of $28.9549–$33.1945.

Starting salary under SEIU contract; snow stipend and clothing allowance included. Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 5–7 years’ custodial supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 5–7 years custodial experience with supervisory ability.
• Ability to monitor quality standards and use maintenance systems.
• CORI/SORI checks and medical screening required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operation of the assigned building.
• Coordinate work schedules and resources for custodial staff.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed.
• Ensure security of custodial equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and train custodial staff as directed by management.
• Perform building cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
