Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten years of full-time experience as a technical specialist in construction and design fields.
• Five years managing construction projects of a scale and scope similar to the Authority.
• NYS Professional Engineer or NYS Registered Architect certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise capital school construction and rehabilitation projects for assigned districts, including on-site supervision of staff and consultants.
• Review staff performance and develop staff for advancement; plan, assign, monitor and evaluate work.
• Monitor progress, schedule, and budget; report to Department of Education and Authority; ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and safety.
