Job summary

InnovAge is seeking a Lead Scheduling Coordinator to act as a senior operational resource within the regional scheduling team in a remote capacity, supporting the Regional Manager and ensuring continuity of referrals. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of medical scheduling experience, with a proven track record of handling complex specialty referrals and peer leadership.
• Technical skills: Mastery of EPIC and Microsoft Office for data tracking.
• 1+ yr administrative, clerical experience, and medical administrative experience that includes filing, record keeping, data entry and providing customer service.
• Must have recent medical scheduling experience within the last 1-2 years of employment.
• Remote work experience.
• Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinator to keep centers balanced and provide virtual float support, stepping in to process referrals when needed.
• Take ownership of stuck or unsolvable orders and break through barriers with provider offices.
• Conduct daily and weekly audits of EPIC Work Queues and ensure 7-day aging standards.
• Serve as the designated go-to mentor for center coordinators on workflows and EPIC navigation.
• Support the Regional Scheduling Manager in training new hires and running CAP data.
• Audit regional mailboxes and re-review messages to ensure timely handling.
• Monitor EPIC pools and the Outside Scheduling Follow-up work queue for timely action.
• Generate weekly reports on pool health for leadership.
