Job summary

The Weitz Company, based in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Scheduling Manager II to lead scheduling for multiple large projects, including development of baselines, analysis, and reporting. You will mentor schedulers, collaborate with project teams, and drive policy improvements to optimize project execution.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in construction management or related field, 8 years of scheduling experience (forensic scheduling), and proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project or construction management.
• 8 years scheduling experience on large, complex projects with forensic scheduling expertise.
• LEAN construction principles experience is highly desired.
• PSP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling processes across multiple projects ensuring consistency with standards.
• Develop complex, resource-loaded baseline schedules for large projects.
• Perform periodic schedule updates and evaluate variances against the baseline.
• Mentor schedulers and foster continuous improvement.
• Lead high-level reviews to ensure accuracy and contractual alignment.
• Serve as primary scheduling contact for complex projects.
