Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Scheduling Manager II based in Denver, CO with visits to project sites across the Rocky Mountain region. You will lead the scheduling function on multiple large projects, develop and manage baselines, and collaborate with project teams to address scheduling challenges.

You will mentor schedulers, conduct high-level schedule reviews, and drive continuous improvement using EVM and advanced tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project or construction management or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of scheduling experience on large, complex projects; forensic scheduling expertise
• LEAN construction principles experience is desired
• PSP designation preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling processes and personnel across multiple projects, ensuring consistency with standards.
• Develop complex, resource-loaded baseline schedules for large projects.
• Perform schedule updates and analyze variances against baseline with project teams.
• Mentor schedulers and foster continuous improvement and high performance.
• Lead high-level reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with contractual requirements.
• Provide scheduling expertise to project teams and support for complex projects.
• Facilitate Pull Planning sessions with trade partners to optimize execution.
• Develop and enforce scheduling policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and mitigate schedule risks with project leaders.
• Lead forensic scheduling, including delay analysis and claims review.
• Review and improve scheduling tools, methodologies, and reporting.
• Oversee schedule-related training programs for teams.
• Prepare high-level schedule reports for senior leadership.
