Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Scheduling Manager II to support our Florida based West Palm Beach operations. This role leads scheduling on multiple large projects, develops baseline schedules, and mentors schedulers to improve delivery.

You will apply Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI and advanced analytics to ensure progress aligns with contract requirements and project goals. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including growth opportunities within a long-standing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project or construction management or equivalent.
• 8 years of scheduling experience on large, complex projects.
• Forensic scheduling expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling processes and personnel across multiple projects.
• Develop complex, resource-loaded baseline schedules for large projects.
• Perform periodic schedule updates and analyze variances.
• Mentor schedulers and promote continuous improvement.
• Lead schedule reviews to ensure accuracy and contractual alignment.
• Provide scheduling support on complex projects as primary contact.
• Facilitate Pull Planning sessions with trade partners.
• Test and review advanced scheduling tools and practices.
• Prepare high-level schedule reports for senior leadership.
• Utilize Earned Value Management for resource planning.
