Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking a Scheduling Manager in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. You will prepare summary and detailed project schedules, coordinate with project teams, and monitor progress against baselines to ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years of heavy highway/civil construction experience, with strong communication and schedule-management skills. Travel/field involvement may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of heavy highway/civil construction experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare summary-level schedules and detailed project schedules.
• Monitor progress against baseline and update schedules.
• Analyze resources and time-phasing; provide mitigation for schedule variances.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide schedule training and support to project teams.
