Job summary

Hoar Construction employment opportunity for a Senior Schedule Manager to lead schedule management, analysis, and control across large capital projects. You will coordinate with project teams and clients to develop and maintain master schedules, perform delay analyses, and drive schedule risk mitigation.

The role requires expertise in CPM scheduling, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project, with proficiency in Power BI and dashboard development for project controls reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Building Science, Accounting or Finance or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of project management or control solutions experience on major projects and programs.
• Experience with Procore or other project management information systems.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development is preferred.
• Experience working with SmartPM.
• Proficient in CPM Scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Experience working in a consultancy or owner organization is an asset.
• Ability to be flexible/adaptable in evolving procedures and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large scale capital projects and programs.
• Provide support to project teams to manage the owner schedule, including setup of the schedule, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop master program schedules using project data and material lead times.
• Assist in project planning phases by developing schedule scenarios and comparisons.
• Work with teams to implement scheduling best practices into contract documents.
• Oversee detailed technical analysis of schedules to identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Perform earned value analysis for progress monitoring and forecasting related to the schedule.
• Identify and track key metrics to measure progress and performance.
