Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Scheduling Director with expertise in Project Controls and Primavera P6 to lead schedules for large-scale commercial projects and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires collaborating with project managers and cross‑functional teams, identifying risks, and delivering dashboards and schedule reports that drive decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management, have strong Primavera P6 skills, and preferably PMP or PSP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project scheduling and controls, with a focus on commercial projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, critical path analysis, and resource allocation.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, PSP, or similar certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all tasks, milestones, and deadlines are clearly defined.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather progress updates and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and present detailed schedule reports and dashboards to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings, fostering collaboration and alignment among project teams.
• Monitor resource allocation and recommend adjustments to optimize project efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in project controls and scheduling tools.
