Job summary

CoVolt Power in Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to lead the scheduling function for large utility-scale solar projects. You will own P6 master schedules, manage a small team of schedulers, and partner with project controls to ensure schedule integrity.

The role emphasizes EVMS, KPI reporting in Power BI, and mentoring the team while advancing standards, templates, and QA processes. Travel to sites every 1–2 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Extensive experience leading EPC schedules on complex projects.
• Certifications such as PSP, PMI-SP, or PMP preferred.
• Experience with resource-loaded scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, and Power Query (M).
• Ability to map schedule to cost codes and reconcile systems.
• Strong EVMS fluency and executive-ready communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain resource-loaded P6 master schedules for complex EPC projects.
• Lead schedule recovery planning, delay analysis, and critical path optimization.
• Perform earned value analysis (CPI/SPI, ETC/EAC) and translate results for leadership.
• Map schedule activities to cost codes and reconcile schedule and cost systems.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and Power Query models for schedule, EVM, and KPI reporting.
• Mentor schedulers and set scheduling SOPs, templates, and QA practices.
• Travel to project sites every 1–2 months to validate field progress.
