Job summary

The City of Glendale AZ is seeking a Senior SCADA System Administrator to provide advanced technical support and lifecycle management for the Water Services SCADA infrastructure. You will help plan, purchase, install, update, and support SCADA systems to ensure reliable water and wastewater operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering with four years of SCADA experience and preferably one year in a lead or supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering with four years of SCADA support experience.
• One year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, installation, updates, and maintenance of SCADA infrastructure.
• Provide senior technical support for Water Services SCADA systems.
• Develop schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage upgrades for SCADA environments.
• Manage Active Directory, group policies, DNS and replication as needed.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery for SCADA data and systems.
