Job summary

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer – SCADA System Supervisor / Integrator to oversee PS&C Division staff in planning, scheduling and directing asset maintenance, repairs, installations, testing and documentation of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with SCADA and related control systems.
• At least 2 years’ supervisory experience in design, installation, integration, testing, and/or maintenance of control, computer, and/or communications-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, program and implement systems integration processes.
• Oversee staff in preventive maintenance routines, repairs, testing and new installations per plans and budget.
• Monitor performance, quality and safety of work; maintain records; direct testing and investigatory activities.
• Conduct field inspections and site investigations; investigate malfunctions and respond to audit recommendations.
• Review design and construction submittals; plan upgrades and modifications; prepare estimates, schedules, reports and other documents.
