NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a Sr Staff Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, SCADA, to own SCADA governance and drive the scaling strategy for deploying SCADA across Crusoe data center projects. You will work across modular, colocation, and hyperscale builds to ensure robust, scalable control systems.

The role requires 10+ years in critical environments, deep Ignition SCADA proficiency, and strong knowledge of industrial protocols.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mission-critical industrial control environments.
• Deep mastery of Ignition SCADA platform and related version control systems.
• Strong familiarity with containerization/orchestration and bare-metal deployment.
• Extensive knowledge of data center/industrial protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, EtherNet/IP).
• Familiar with OT/ICS security concepts and Purdue model.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA governance across an assigned portfolio of Crusoe data center projects.
• Drive scaling strategy for deploying SCADA across modular, colocation, and hyperscale builds.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, vendors, and cloud teams.
