Job summary

EVERLINE TECH OPS LLC seeks an experienced Electrical EMS/SCADA Engineer to design, implement, and maintain EMS/SCADA infrastructure for generation and transmission assets. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and real-time monitoring across tag configuration, historian integration, HMI development, and field device communications (RTU/Modbus/DNP3).

The ideal candidate will blend strong electrical engineering fundamentals with hands-on SCADA platform experience and knowledge of NERC

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining EMS/SCADA infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP cybersecurity standards and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with RTU/PLC communications using Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills across historian, tag databases, and HMI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle management of SCADA systems including design, upgrades, testing, and maintenance.
• Ensure SCADA availability, data accuracy, and cybersecurity compliance with NERC CIP and company standards.
• Configure tags, alarms, and dashboards for generator and substation monitoring.
• Troubleshoot RTU/PLC communications and historian performance; support EMS functions like state estimation and SOL/IROL monitoring.
• Collaborate with protection, controls, IT, and operations teams to implement reliable SCADA solutions.
